Job Information:

We are looking for a highly motivated Marketing Production Manager to supervise, plan and manage the production of all the supplementary content and materials to our animated shows. 


This includes: 3D/2D assets, short 3D animated videos, video advertisements, promotional images, photoshoots, behind the scenes posts, graphics, and printed advertising. This role will see you work closely with our marketing, merchandise, and 3D artists to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of all necessary materials outside of our main video content. The ideal candidate should be a fast learner that can pick up a variety of different production pipelines and also have strong problem solving skills when it comes to managing and scheduling content being made.

Your duties will include:​

  • Management of the marketing team as well as designers, artists, and editors as needed. This includes the planning of team member schedules, and liaising with other production managers to discuss resource allocation and intra-departmental conflict resolution.

  • Breaking down an animation script into core assets and animations and then proceeding to delegate them out subject to artist availability.

  • Breaking down marketing/merch campaigns and content into core assets needed from photography, videography, and other production departments and then proceeding to delegate/schedule out the work accordingly.

  • Production managing the creation of individual 3D assets and animations. This involves managing and scheduling time for riggers, 3d modellers, texture artists, animators, lighting artists, compositers, graphic designers, and rendering artists.

  • Clearly communicating goals, milestones, and benchmarks to team members to ensure that all team members are working towards a shared objective.

  • Organising, facilitating and taking notes in meetings involving the artists and other stakeholders.

  • Follow up on meeting action items with relevant parties.

  • Improving and iterating on existing pipelines to improve efficiency and reduce workload.

  • Identifying blockers and potential delays ahead of time and then working with the Head of Production to circumvent them and ensure a timely delivery of production.

  • Organising completed assets for easy retrieval in the future.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, media, production, or a related field.

  • Experience leading a team.

  • Experience in producing video and/or graphic content in a marketing context.

  • Good understanding of the 3D animation pipeline

  • Have a keen, strategic and analytical mind that is able to break down problems and solve them efficiently.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • An understanding or experience with the arts, animation, gaming, and/or ‘internet nerd’ culture.

  • Be extremely organised and have a strong work ethic.

  • Engaging personality and willingness to learn.

  • Positive, go-getter attitude with a passion for making things.

  • Conflict management skills and knowledge of mediation techniques.

Additional skills (optional):

  • Graphic design/illustration.

  • Animation

  • Video editing.

  • Experience with Adobe suite or similar editing/creative software.

  • Experience in Unreal Engine and/or Maya.

  • Web design.
