Our channel has over 10 million subscribers, tens of millions of views per episode and is still growing strong. Our studio is filled with incredibly talented and passionate artists that are determined to change the way animation is produced and treated in the industry. Our latest IP; Digital Circus, has amassed over 300 million views on the pilot alone and we have a lot more still to come.

Job Information:

Glitch Productions is seeking a Texture Artist/3D Modeller with expertise in texturing and surfacing stages of the production pipeline. This role will see you collaborating closely with the 3D modelling team to create assets that will be used throughout our shows.

​

Your duties will include:​

  • Modeling a wide variety of 3D objects in varying styles.

  • Adapting 2D concept art into a final texture on a 3D model, that adheres to the style set by the director.

  • Collaborating with the 3D modelling team to create assets that will be used throughout the production pipeline.

  • Ensuring approved assets and textures are set up in Unreal Engine.

  • Working with production management to ensure deadlines are met.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A portfolio demonstrating ability to model a variety of 3D objects with quality textures/surfacing.

  • The ability to interpret concept art, and to resolve any challenges that may occur when transferring a 2D design into 3D

  • Strong understanding of Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter and Unreal Engine 

  • Excellent knowledge of UV mapping tools and strong knowledge of UV layout techniques

  • Ability to maintain a high level of quality and meet standards outlined by directors and leads.

  • Great attention to detail

  • Ability to learn and adapt to a wide variety of challenges

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Willingness to communicate with the team and collaborate to overcome challenges
