Job Information:

Glitch Productions is looking for a highly capable, detail-oriented, and organized Production Coordinator to help coordinate, schedule, and assist production needs in its production and post-production departments. This role will see you use keen planning, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills to ensure that our production pipeline remains efficient from layout through to compositing.

Your duties will include:

  • Assisting management to plan and maintain the schedules of all departments in our production and post-production departments to reduce bottlenecks and disruptions.

    • Departments include; Layout, Animation, Lighting, Rendering and Compositing departments

  • Assist and verify the transfer, setup and organization of production assets, files and tasks for production and post production departments

  • Breaking down episode animatics into animation and shot lists

  • Set up and verify layout and animation shots in our render engine (Unreal Engine)

    • This will involve exporting animations/shots from Maya and importing them into Unreal Engine

  • Problem solving and coordinating the fix of problem assets/shots/files.

  • Attend production meetings, take notes and generate accurate tasks based off of the notes

  • Coordinating the flow of information and direction from supervisors and directors to  ensure departments are working to the same goal and to minimize confusion.

  • Help with the introduction and development of new tools and pipelines to increase the efficiency of the production team

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in coordinating or managing a project in the 3D animation/game development space.

  • Experience with management software such as Asana, Trello, Jira or Shotgrid.

  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to think independently.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Strong problem solving skills.

  • A moderate understanding of 3D Software such as Maya, Blender or Unreal Engine

  • People management and conflict resolution experience.

  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to an incredibly fast paced environment.

  • Initiative and a desire to improve efficiency and workflow.

Bonus Skills

  • Strong understanding of internet and gaming culture

  • 3D animation skills

  • 3D modelling/rigging skills

  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine or Unity
