Our studio is filled with incredibly talented and passionate artists that are determined to change the way animation is produced and treated in the industry. Our latest IP; Digital Circus, has amassed over 300 million views on the pilot alone and we have a lot more still to come.

Job Information:

Glitch Productions is looking for a highly capable, detail-oriented, and organized Licensing Manager who has a passion to work alongside the Animation/Entertainment industry, securing and maintaining licensing deals as well as managing related employees and resources. This role will be working closely with the company’s merch and licensing team to establish and manage goals with licensing affiliates.

 

As a manager level position, this role will see you involved in identifying the company’s brands’ goals, seeking out suitable licensing opportunities, coordinating with the merchandise team to ensure a cohesive overall product offering, negotiating deals, and managing the licensing team’s schedule. You will also be required to analyze, report and deduce future steps through the results of licensing campaigns.

Your duties will include:​

  • Strategising with brand managers on yearly licensing goals and priorities.

  • Converting high level strategies into tangible and achievable tasks for the licensing team.

  • Maintaining brand integrity through all licensed products in order to uphold the overall brand strategy set by the executive team.

  • Seeking and securing business opportunities with licensing brands, partners and affiliates.

  • Establish and maintain long lasting license partnership relationships with licensees.

  • Communicating with the internal management team to decide on licensing opportunities and strategies.

  • Managing and organizing the priorities of the licensing team.

  • Finding and organizing show and brand assets across our multiple animated shows for licensees.

  • Managing and scheduling the licensing team’s day to day administrative duties:

    • Creating high-level timelines of licensing development and rollout plans.

    • Tracking and managing the delivery of assets and style guides to licensees.

    • Ensuring licensed designs are quality assured by creatives in a timely manner.

    • Communicating with partners.

  • Compiling revision notes into readable and actionable items.

  • Analyzing and deducing data from license campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, logistics, marketing, project management or similar.

  • Keen eye for aesthetic and detail.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • A strong understanding of Glitch and its show’s brand image.

  • Strong stakeholder management and time management skills.

  • An understanding or experience with the arts, animation, gaming, and/or ‘internet nerd’ culture.

  • Be extremely organized and have a strong work ethic.

  • Engaging personality and willingness to learn.

  • Positive, go-getter attitude with a passion for making things.

  • Strong analytical and deduction skills.

  • Strong understanding of merchandise and licensed product categories and their appropriate demographics.

Additional skills (optional):

  • Artistic/Creative background.

  • Fluent in Japanese or Spanish.

  • Photoshop.

  • Familiarity with apparel, toys, and/or accessories and their production.
