Job Information

​Glitch Productions is looking for a highly capable, analytical, and organised Production Manager to help manage, monitor, orchestrate and schedule production needs in all departments and across all of our Glitch Productions series. This position requires a strong understanding of the 3D animation pipeline as it will require you to plan far ahead on what will be required for each project and department.

This role will see you using advanced problem solving and management skills to ensure that our team produces content according to schedules and deadlines. You will work with our department leads to improve the efficiency of our pipeline and minimize disruptions in workflow. You will be working on multiple episodes across 3 different shows at a time.

Your duties will include:​​

  • Strategise, plan and manage the schedules of all departments in our animation production pipeline and ensuring production is able to deliver on schedule.

  • Supervising a team of production coordinators and making decisions based on their reports.

  • Identifying and resolving any potential production issues that may arise

  • Facilitate effective communication between departments to minimise confusion and ensure everyone is working to the same goal. 

  • Managing multiple director’s schedule and prioritizing their work

  • Organize team members and use critical problem solving skills to prevent disruptions to workflow.

  • Plan effective allocation of resources to projects to stick to pre-approved production budgets and timelines.

  • Coordinating the needs and resources of the production team with external departments, such as marketing and merchandise.

  • Help with the introduction and development of new tools and pipelines to increase the efficiency of the production team, and then either executing or directing the execution of those tools/pipelines.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Experience in managing a project in the 3D animation/game development space.

  • Experience with management software such as Asana, Trello, or Shotgrid.

  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to think independently.

  • Strong problem solving skills.

  • People management and conflict resolution experience.

  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to an incredibly fast paced environment.

  • Initiative and a desire to improve efficiency and workflow.

Additional Skills

  • Strong understanding of internet and gaming culture

  • 3D animation skills

  • 3D modelling/rigging skills

  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine or Unit
