Job Information:
We are currently looking for an experienced and passionate candidate to develop and manage the production and distribution of our merchandise and physical products. This role is for those that can combine both creative and organisational skills in order to delight our audience with high quality and unique merchandise.
You will oversee every aspect of our merchandise production and distribution including: production and release schedules; distribution logistics including shipping and digital storefront management; quality assurance on products during all stages from conception to manufacturing; and management of the merchandise team. You will be working closely with the executive team to create products that uphold the value of our brand and showcase the creativity of our shows.

Your duties will include:

Managing and overseeing the entire production pipeline of our merchandise, from product ideation through to distribution.

Ideating new products and product categories based on inferred demand from our audience.

Devising merchandise campaigns and waves according to the overall company strategy and broader consumer trends.

Directing the merchandise team to realise our release schedules in a timely and efficient manner, as well as communicating design choices to relevant stakeholders.

Giving feedback in some instances completely directing designs and products to ensure a consistently high quality of merchandise and an adherence to brand guidelines and value.

Providing regular analytic reports to the executive team regarding merchandise sales data, as well as proposing strategies and plans based on that data.

Assist in the marketing of our merchandise items, including the management of our digital storefront.

A successful candidate will have:

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, finance, marketing, operations, or similar.

At least 5 years’ experience in logistics, manufacturing, or retail management.

A creative mindset that understands the essence of our brand’s designs and an ability to extend them to physical merchandise.

Have a keen, critical sense of good design and aesthetic styles, as well as an understanding of brand identity.

An ability to analyse data to drive innovation and deliver quality and exciting products to our fans.

A finger on the pulse of the young teens to young adult demographic, particularly those in the animation, anime, and gaming subcultures.

Familiarity with the production of apparel, toys, and/or accessories.

Strong attention to detail and scheduling, particularly with strict deadlines and multiple stakeholders with moving targets.

Strong management and communication skills.

A willingness to learn and adapt to a rapidly growing industry.
