Job Information:
Glitch Productions is looking for a highly organised and dynamic Head of Operations to oversee the day-to-day operations of the company. This role will see you working alongside the executive team, helping develop and implement new strategies to drive the company forward while continuously reviewing and refining internal processes to enhance overall efficiency.
As Glitch Productions is rapidly growing, you will be pivotal in maintaining operational excellence and contributing to the company’s continued success.

Your duties will include:​

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company including budgeting, recruitment, human resources, and analytics in order to ensure the smooth functioning of company activities and the departments reliant on them.

Managing the operations and administration teams by providing direction, upskilling, and mentoring to staff members.

Proposing and initiating new operations initiatives in order to increase the efficiency of the operations department and the services offered to the rest of the company.

Coordinating communication with partnered service providers for the legal, accounting, IT, and compliance activities of the company.

Negotiate terms and prices with new vendors and partnered services to keep overhead expenses within budget.

Analyze and redesign current company processes/policies in order to keep the company agile during its continued development.

The ideal candidate will have:

A Bachelor’s degree in finance, human resources, IT, management, or similar.

7+ years experience in an operational or management role.

Expertise in Google Suite/Microsoft Office tools, especially spreadsheet management.

A strong analytical or process improvement background with a data-focused mindset.

Experience working with small businesses or startups.

An understanding or experience with the arts, animation, gaming, and/or ‘internet nerd’ culture.
