Job Information:
Glitch Productions is looking for a keen and highly organized Events Manager to manage our events department. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, execution and wellbeing of Glitch’s upcoming events. Events can range from pop up booths based on our IP to entire conventions.
You will be planning high level timelines, deadlines and day to day responsibilities for event creatives and other event related departments. You will be required to reach out to and communicate with external companies to sort out logistics and venues, manage internal and external resources, and execute events such as convention booths, pop up booths and more. As our company grows, you will need to adapt and plan to our growing needs and vision for events.

Your duties will include:​

Planning and organizing logistics for multiple events at a time.

Maintaining and tracking creatives and resources on a timeline to achieve and execute events in a timely manner.

Communicating with event creatives about what is required for an event and scheduling them in.

Communicating with marketing, construction, design and merch departments to ensure all aspects for events are delivered on time.

Delivering creative assets to production teams to avoid delays and ensure high quality materials.

Visiting and setting up events in person.

Supervising and running events as they happen.

Managing a team of event staff to run a successful event.

The ideal candidate will have:

Excellent planning and logistical skills for events.

Experience in running events of more than 500 attendees.

Great communication with internal and external parties.

Forward planning and the ability to predict issues and plan around them.

Impeccable organization.

Good social skills..

The ability to manage multiple people and timelines.
